Brief Project Description: The client has recently purchased two industrial units and requested we replace fragile hazardous asbestos-cement roofing prior to occupying them. With the units being empty it was an ideal opportunity to carry out this work which would save any risk of disruption in the future. The new kingspan insulated composite panels have created a new bright and clean internal appearance with triple skin translucent units further enhancing the working environment with natural light.
Asbestos-cement guttering was replaced using insulated membrane lined gutters with modern day drainage calculations achieved with increased capacity and outlet diameters/locations.
Brickwork parapet walls were encapsulated using coated steel sheeting and flashings to complete with overall roof area allowing a full warranty to be provided to the client.
The client is very pleased with the outcome and is looking forward to a bright future occupying the property.
