RoofTech have just completed the replacement of 3,200m2 of roofing for the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of alloyed welding consumables based in Chertsey, Surrey.
The existing asbestos-cement roof sheeting, lining panels, patent glazing and guttering were removed and cleared from site in accordance with strict HSE regulations.

The new roof covering consists of 115mm Kingspan composite panel sheeting and triple skin GRP translucent panels to meet current Building Regulations. The new roof now drains into Highline type coated steel gutters which have the same finish and colour as the Kingspan sheeting.

The building remained in use at all times during the works and careful planning was required to minimise the impact on the customer’s production.
