Roof Replacement and Solar PV in Essex

Brief Project Description: RoofTech have been awarded the contract to replace the existing roof sheeting with Kingspan KS1000RW Quadcore insulated panels. This roofing solution offers exceptional thermal performance, energy saving and environmental benefits. The 115mm thick panels would provide a U value of less than 0.16W/m2/°C to meet current Building Regulations for heated buildings (Part L2B-2022). Other works include new coated steel external eaves gutters and downpipes. We will also install a new solar PV panel system comprising monocrystalline panels mounted on the roof slopes to produce approximately 75,000kWh of clean, green electricity per year.
