Insulated Over-Sheeting System

Scaffold edge protection and internal safety netting have now been erected in readiness for our works to start on this large 5000m2 over-sheeting project in Fareham, Hampshire. The first operation is to replace 120 deteriorated GRP translucent panels. The new roof system can then start to be installed. This will comprise a galvanised steel spacer bar fixed through to the structural purlins, non-combustible quilt insulation to meet current Building Regulations (Part L2B) and a trapezoidal profile coated steel outer skin incorporating new GRP translucent panels to match the existing rooflight layout. Additional works include refurbishment of all gutters using a seamless thermoplastic lining system and installation of a new roof mounted safety line system to allow future inspections and maintenance.
