Project Secured – Pitched Roof Replacement and PV Installation in Surrey

Brief Project Description: RoofTech have been awarded the contract to strip the existing double-skin asbestos-cement roof sheeting and replace it with Kingspan KS1000RW Quadcore insulated panels. This roofing solution offers exceptional thermal performance, energy saving and environmental benefits. The 115mm thick panels would provide a U value of less than 0.16W/m2/°C to meet current Building Regulations for heated buildings (Part L2B-2022). Other works include lining the valley gutters and the introduction of new coated steel external eaves gutters which will over-sail the existing concrete items. We will also install a 250kWp solar PV panel system. This system will comprise approximately 550no. monocrystalline panels mounted on the roof slopes to produce approximately 220,000kWh of clean, green electricity per year.
