Brief Project Description: RoofTech were awarded a contract to oversheet the existing asbestos-cement warehouse which was subject to constant water ingress in numerous areas of the building. To meet current Building Regulations (Part L2B – 2022), we encapsulated the existing roof with new plastisol coated steel roof sheets and have included non-combustible quilt insulation to reduce heat loss. The warehouse’s existing services were weathered into the new covering and natural daylight within the building was maintained by the inclusion of GRP (glass reinforced plastic) rooflights above the existing locations.
