Brief project Description: The original asphalt roof covering was showing typical signs of deterioration and water ingress was being reported on a regular basis. The client therefore required an effective solution to resolve these issues whilst the building remained in constant use.
With assistance from the manufacturer a specification was presented for a high performance low odour liquid coating system complete with a 25 year warranty.
Leaks and poor natural lighting were also associated with original glazed rooflights therefore these where replaced using non-fragile triple skin polycarbonate dome lights.
New parapet wall mounted handrails were also installed to provide adequate fall protection and safe future access.
