Progress Update: Roof Over-Sheeting Project in Horsham, West Sussex

RoofTech are nearing completion of an 800m² roof over-sheeting project in Horsham, West Sussex.

The existing fragile asbestos-cement roof had been suffering from water ingress, poor natural lighting and maintenance challenges. Our solution was to install a new non-fragile over-sheeting system, complete with replacement rooflights to improve daylight levels and upgrade the building’s thermal performance to meet current Building Regulations and Building Control requirements.

The project also included new eaves gutters and downpipes to improve drainage and appearance, along with the temporary removal and reinstatement of the existing solar PV system.

To complete the works, RoofTech will be installing a safe access system to facilitate future roof inspection and maintenance.
