RoofTech were contracted by a leading airport facilities company to install an insulated roof oversheeting system onto the former Rolls Royce engine workshop at Heathrow Airport, which is now being occupied by Speedy Hire Plc.
The works involve replacement of the existing GRP rooflights followed by a lightweight spacer bar system, 220mm thick glassfibre quilt insulation to meet current Building Regulations and new colour coated roof sheet incorporating translucent panels.
