RoofTech have successfully completed an Oversheeting project of approx. 2,750 sq.m for a Cable Management company in Hastings, East Sussex. The existing profiled steel pitched roof was showing signs of deterioration as to be expected with its age, high level exposure and nearby coastal location.
Whilst this involved the typical components of an Oversheet including a thermal performance upgrade to achieve Buliding Regulations, we additionally incorporated extra rooflight banks to provide a more even spread of natural light across the factory area. A combination of the additional rooflights being installed, the existing rooflights being replaced and new rooflights within the Oversheet has contributed to making a noticeable improvement which the client is very satisfied with.
