RoofTech recently completed a project for a large medical technology manufacturer in Crawley.
The project consisted of:
Removing loose coatings, rust and zinc salts through abrading to leave a firm, clean and feathered metal surface.
Applying Delvemade Sealant into the gap between the upper and lower sheets forming a completed bridged seal which was then tooled off to a neat edge.
Applying one coat of Seamsil Basecoat to all the prepared surfaces ensuring complete coverage of all exposed and prepared steelwork.
Applying one coat of colour matched Seamsil Top Coat overlapping the Basecoat by approximately 13mm.
The above was applied to sheet end laps and rooflight abutments.
