Westhampnett Canopy

Further to our Asbestos Roof Replacement – Westhampnett news two weeks ago, RoofTech have now also completed the canopy on the same site.

The project involved disposing of the existing Chrysotile asbestos roof sheeting in accordance with current regulations, strapping steel supports to the existing concrete purlins, fitting a new roof covering of single skin steel sheeting and GRP rooflights, forming seals at ridge, eaves and verge details using site measured steel flashings, renewal of the asbestos eaves gutter with a new steel gutter and cleaning of the concrete eaves gutter.

As with the main roof, RoofTech were appointed to carry out these works directly for Chichester District Council following their formal tendering process.
