RoofTech have successfully completed a large refurbishment project in Bristol.
The main roof chippings were removed and a new roof covering of PIR insulation and Protan SE single ply membrane was secured over the existing felt coverings providing a new insulated roof complying to current Building regulations.
RoofTech also removed the existing lights, increased the upstand to accomodate the new insulation and fitted new Kingspan KS1000RW composite panels and FAIRs (Factory Assembled Insulated Rooflights). The composite panels were introduced to provide a safe platform when accessing the roof through the newly installed access hatch.
The mansard rooflights were also replaced with Kingspan KS1000RW composite panels and FAIRs and new liners were installed in the gutter at the base of the mansard.
